Lon Chan is an illustrator working out of his studio next to Brighton’s Royal Pavillion – here are some things you might like to know about him…

Lon’s artworks are intricately detailed, contemporary compositions that juxtapose both a stylishly glossy and hand-crafted quality – a unique combination of bold colours and hand-drawn lines.

As well as being selected by the jury for Lürzer’s Archive’s 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide Lon has exhibited his print artwork around the world including for Legendary Pictures Official Art Show, Tribe: The Art of KONG in New York, and the Baby Driver Art Show in London.

Lon is inspired by his love of natural history, pop culture and art nouveau, his work is the brainchild of the 80’s anglo-scandi-chinese melting pot he grew up in.
